Darshana (in devanagari दर्शन, from the Sanskrit root drś, meaning "to see") is a Sanskrit word with multiple meanings.

As an adjective darshana means "exposing", "showing", "knowing", "teaching", "revealing".

As a neutral noun darshana has numerous meanings ranging from "sight", "investigation", "discernment", "opinion", "doctrine".

Within the ancient philosophies of India the term darshana indicates a theoretical or interpretative system that is the result of a "point of view".

The point of view is different but it is directed in the same direction, the Veda, the millennial sacred text of India from which the indispensable hinges of the Yoga practice are evinced

The fundamental program of Yoga Darshana International University is to lead Yoga practice back to its origins. From the Devanagari alphabet to the Rig Veda, from the early Rishis to the more recent mystics, we are devoted to this India. we are devoted to the great culture of India.
